Gilberto Villalobos is a Project Architect who values functional aesthetics, materiality, and tactility, with a focus on creating meaningful places that weave together the natural and built environment. With nearly decade of experience across residential, commercial, recreational, and hospitality projects, he brings a thoughtful, detail-driven approach to every phase of design and delivery. His work reflects a strong sensitivity to context, craft, and the experiential qualities of space.
Prior to joining Northwest Studio, Gilberto worked with several firms along the West Coast, from Seattle to Southern California. He is adept in both design and project leadership roles, coordinating with clients, consultants, and contractors while navigating technical and regulatory complexities. Gilberto’s ability to move fluidly between big-picture ideas and precise execution makes him a key contributor to the studio’s work.
