For more than forty years, the Everett AquaSox have leased their 1940s-era home field from the Everett School District, sharing schedules, parking, and facilities with the district’s administrative offices, high-school sports programs, and the Everett Community College baseball team. With the last major renovation more than twenty-five years ago, the city of Everett and the AquaSox are now exploring options for a new or substantially upgraded stadium.

This study represented one of the early siting options for a new stadium and public park, woven into the fabric of downtown near Everett Station, creating a shared home for local baseball, concerts, and community life.

Building on the broader Everett Station Convergence study, this work continued an exploration of opportunities to plan and build key components of a sustainable, equitable, and vibrant neighborhood, while supporting the existing businesses of the Everett Station District.
